The Susan G Komen (Komen) Global Women’s Cancer Summit was an exciting and rewarding project to be a part of.  We were tasked with working with stakeholders in California, Texas and DC in order to complete the project for their summit books.

Komen had a unique set of requirements for their project. One of the complicated requests they had was that they wanted their classic ribbon logo to shine, but not be printed flat.  After talking the options through, the best option considering the constraints of time and budget, was a custom die production for their cover.   We were able to print the covers, apply a protective UV coating, and then stamp out the design for the ribbon.  Then on the second page, the full bleed printed in pink and showed through on the cover, giving the illusion of dimension for their logo.

Thanks to great communication with our client’s teams through the United States and our teams’ coordination, we were able to complete the project inside of 3 days.  Typically we would need 6-8!
